CILLÍ began in founder Nathan Thomson’s Glasgow tenement flat, where he started making hot sauce from the kitchen. After a run of sold-out markets and online drops, Nathan wanted to take his obsession with heat somewhere new. CILLÍ Tequila was born.
From the kitchen to the bar

One hot bottle.
Nathan and Gillies met through Glasgow’s nightlife scene and later worked together at one of the city’s best-known cocktail bars. Together, they developed CILLÍ from the liquid up, refining the recipe, shaping the packaging and building a tequila brand made for properly good nights.
